Sheppard Air Force Base doesn’t offer urgent or emergency care services.

Urgent Care

Urgent Care services treat non-life-threatening health issues that require immediate attention, such as sprains, the flu, colds, and other common illnesses.

Urgent Care Guidance

Sheppard Clinic has no urgent or after hours care available. All members should use the following urgent care guidance. Note: ER Now is not an approved TRICARE authorized facility. Patients may have out of pocket expenses.

Military Members

Call 940-676-2273 or 1-800 TRICARE (874-2273) and follow instructions provided by the Nurse Advice Line (NAL).

Dependents and Retirees

Report to any of the following urgent care facilities. Call prior to going to follow COVID-19 restrictions; verify hours of operation and available services.

If you are experiencing a life-threatening medical situation (including mental health emergencies), call 911 immediately. Emergency care services treat life-threatening medical issues such as threats to your life, limbs, sight, or safety.
